​At Kingsmoor Primary School our aim is to help our pupils achieve their full potential as learners within a happy, caring atmosphere. To achieve successful personal development we place an emphasis on the relationships we build, ​ the environment we create and the expectations we have.
Governors, Parents, Staff and Pupils are all involved in the process by working together we can provide the quality of education that our children deserve. ​The school encourages pupils to work and behave in a way which leads to their own successful development. To help with this we use the Kingsmoor Code.

VISITING SESSIONS FOR NEW RECEPTION CHILDREN STARTING IN SEPTEMBER 2025
We would like to invite all parents and children who are interested in applying for places at Kingsmoor School
in September 2026, to come along, have a look around the school and meet us. You can turn up at either of
the following sessions or arrange an alternative if necessary.
Tuesday 7th October 1.30 – 3.00pm or Wednesday 8th October 1.30 – 3.00pm
Application for school places can only be made online at Somerset Council. The closing date for applications is the 15th January 2026. The portal for applications will open on the 29th September 2025. ​​​​Kingsmoor Primary School is situated in the village of Bawdrip and opened in February 1995.  The school serves the communities of Bawdrip, Chedzoy, Bridgwater and nearby villages.
