Friday Activities

Every half term the children have the opportunity to participate in the Friday Activities. These run for two weeks each half term.

They are an opportunity for the children to further develop their skills in areas of:

Performance
Art and crafts
Outdoor education
Design and Technology (ICT)
Problem solving and/Strategy

Drawing upon teacher's expertise and enabling children to develop core life skills:

Promoting Risk Taking
Becoming Resilient
Reassuring others
Being Resourceful
Developing Relationships and Social Skills with peers and adults alike.

These sessions have been running since October 2011 and have been extremely successful within the school involving school governors and parental helpers.
