PFSA
Miss Sophie Mitchell
Our school's PFSA (Parental family support advisor ) is Sophie Mitchell.
Sophie works 1 day a week to support our families. Her work can involve supporting parents with parenting/bereavement/finances/anxiety to name a few. If you feel you may benefit from a little extra support or advice, please do contact your child's class teacher or a member of SLT - we will be more than happy to help and refer to an appropriate intervention.

MHST
Mental health Support team
|
Kingsmoor are fortunate to have the MHST team supporting our school. This has been in place since 2022 and has had a positive impact: supporting our whole school approach to health and wellbeing, working with parents delivering workshops on areas such as: resilience and self-esteem, understanding emotions, low-mood and transitions. Referrals can also be made for 1:1 parent/child led interventions.
|
Kingsmoor became a MHST school in September 2023. As a result, the school is supported by practitioners from the NHS and mental health team in order to improve children and young people's access to early mental health and well-being services.
If you would like support from the Mental health team - please speak to Mrs Warren, who is the school's Senior mental health Lead.
